I work freelance. Because of this, I have a tendency to drop by coffee shops and bookstores to quickly check email or do other internet activities. (Well, not for long, thanks to Clearwire, but that’s another post.) Any time you log onto a wireless network, even if its a secured one (i.e. using WEP instead of WPA2), you run the risk of your information ending up in the eyes of people you’d rather not see it.
